Rotate PDF pages
Rotate pages turns the PDF 90, 180 or 270 degrees, all pages or only the ones you specify. The rotation is written into the file itself, not just a temporary reading view. All processing runs in your browser, without sending anything to a server.
Four steps, nothing to install.
The whole job happens on your computer, start to finish.
Choose the file
Drag the PDF you want to rotate into the tool window, or click to pick it.
Choose the angle
Pick 90, 180 or 270 degrees, and specify pages if you do not want to rotate all of them.
Rotate
Press the button. The processing runs on your computer, never on a server.

Is rotating here different from rotating in Adobe Reader?
Yes. In Adobe Reader, the rotate button often changes only the on-screen view: reopen the file in another program or print it, and the page goes back to its original orientation. Here the rotation is written directly into the file, so it stays that way in any reader, device or printout.
Can I rotate only some pages?
Yes. Specify the pages in the dedicated field, for example 1,3. If you leave the field empty, every page in the document is rotated.
Which angles can I choose?
90 degrees to the right, 90 degrees to the left, or 180 degrees.
Is rotating PDF pages free?
No. This tool is part of the Premium subscription, EUR 1.99 a month, which removes the limits on every tool and adds OCR. Sign PDF opens on the free plan, with one signature a day. Competitors like iLovePDF and PDF24 give this feature away for free too: the difference here is that the file never leaves your browser.
I rotated the PDF but the downloaded file looks unchanged, why?
If every number you typed in the pages field falls outside the document's total, the tool does not warn you: it downloads a "rotated" file with no rotation applied at all, because no valid page was left to rotate. Check the total page count before entering it.
Why does opening the PDF in this tool give an error?
Most likely because the file is already password protected, this tool cannot open encrypted PDFs, or the file itself is corrupted and not a valid PDF at all. Check that it opens normally in another reader before uploading it here to rotate.
Can I rotate different pages to different sides in the same run?
No. Each time you click rotate, the same angle applies to every selected page in that run. For pages that need different angles, one at 90 degrees and another at 180 for example, repeat the process once per group of pages sharing the same angle.
Questions about rotating PDF.
Do I need to create an account to use this tool?
Yes. The account (magic link, no password) is needed for the subscription. This tool is part of the Premium subscription, EUR 1.99 a month, which removes the limits on every tool and adds OCR. Sign PDF opens on the free plan, with one signature a day.
Does the rotation work in every PDF reader?
Yes. Since the rotation is written into the page data of the file itself, any reader that respects the PDF format shows the pages already in the new orientation.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes. The tool was built mobile first.
Can I cancel the subscription anytime?
Yes. The subscription is monthly and cancels from your account, with no minimum commitment.
